Cherudim serves as an upgrade for Dynames with better long range rifle which can be switched to a short range beam gun. With the GN pistols II which can be interchanged becoming beam axes. With its Rifle Bits (controlled by Haro) which acts as a shield and attack drones, this is some what similar to those "fin funnels" used by Nu Gundam.
The articulation in this figure is very agile, however, the parts (especially the rifle bits) may be a hindrance when posing the gundam due to its tendency to fall off.. The side skirts of the figure also hinders the movement when kneeling. Overall, its still a very fun figure to play with especially if you have extra stands and parts from the Robot Damashii Qan (T), it will be fun to pose its rifle bits in action mode. Part 2 of this review will feature the rifle bits and aerial poses. Till then, "Cherudim Gundam, Lockon Stratos, Targeted and Firing!"
In term of playing, Robot Damashii is way better than the model kit for regular pose and playing around.
ReplyDeleteThe posing is definitely great but.. this figure's joints are a bit loose and the "bits" always come off during posing. My RD Qan (T) doesnt have this prob though. ^^
ReplyDeleteIt can be true for some figures but this Cherudim is not 1 of them. haha! The "bits" fall off too easily and will be a constant torn when posing the figure.
ReplyDeleteMy GM Sniper II Robot Damashii seems fine and it look great with other 1/144. Probably GM Sniper has got less parts. Cherudim has differential itself from typical Gundam head with its V-fin on the side. For a sniper class, it does has a wide range of weapon even for close range.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling the old damashii is much more fragile and flimsy compared to new ones as my Qan(T) doesnt seem to have this problem and the joints are stiff. He's one of the best sniper class with high defending and attacking capabilities. My official favourite gundam for the 00 series. XD
