After a very long overdue, here is an update to my collection! Last posted in July 2011, since then I have hauled enough "goods and merchandise" to display them in a new cabinet. For those who have seen before my post here, you might notice some similar toys as they are relocated.
Not much as compared to other collectors out there, but I just thought of sharing (bloat) it anyway. HAHAHA!
I wouldn't talk much in this post as I will let the pictures do the talking. =P
No other transformers except Prime for me!

I'm still missing one more form of Gurren Lagann if one notices. =(

There will definitely be a Part 3 in the books as I still have some that have yet to the light of day.
HAHAHA!
Hi all! After a long break (again!), this time im bringing back some old memories with the latest retro toy from the Power Rangers Series. As the title holds, Titanus is a carrier zord for the Power Rangers with the ability to combine with the other Zords (Megazord and Dragonzord) to form the Ultrazord. Besides being able to combine, Titanus also has its attack mode for which can blast cannons from its uplifted tail and from its mouth.
It has been with me for about 15 years so the plastics are starting to yellow out if you seen it for real. Photos can really hide the truth. ^^
What I like most of the Titanus are those red glowing eyes. They are so menacing and kinda make it looks more like a baddy than a goodie-2-shoe. Too bad they didnt include led lights up for this beast during that time.
Really looks like Brachiosaurus from this angle doesnt it?
Titanus attack mode!
Titanus is also able to walk on its own with the help of batteries and its cannons can waver up and down which is real cool! Watch it from its commercial below>>>
It's really a big and chunky toy to have with nostalgic values embedded though only for us young adults as i don't think the new generation even know what is this anymore~ =p
Till the next post!
The Zord where the original evil ranger, the Green Ranger can summon and command via his "Dragon Dagger". His flute that can summon Dragonzord doubles up as melee weapon which he use. Under a spell, he used his powers to fight the 5 rangers and did it amazingly well (new characters usually do pretty well... XD). After the evil spell is broken, the Green Ranger along with his Dragonzord fight alongside the other rangers against the forces of evil..
The Dragonzord has few weapons it his arsenal, mainly the missiles from its fingers and its tail. However, most of the fight scenes involves it in a melee battle. However it can be merged with the Megazord to form the Mega Dragonzord or Dragonzord Battle Mode. Alternately, it can also be combined with the Megazord and Titanus (review soon.....) to form the mighty Ultrazord.
A mean looking head~
Not that sure if those missiles can still be launched though
The chrome bits of this figure did not wear that fast as compared to the Megazord chrome bits.
A look at its box and manual of which i still have~
Yup, it was made a looong time ago..
At that time, bandai still have factories in Thailand (better quality i suppose?)
Dragonzord with his best buddy sparing partner,Tyrannosaurus Dinozord
And finally a little tribute to our dear-old zord from Youtube:
"It's Morphing Time!!"
Who could ever forget that line back in the early 90s. XD. Back then, all the children would sit and wait for the airing of "Power Rangers" and never wanted it to end as we'd had to wait a full week for the next airing.
Oh well, maybe not all the kids, but definitely me! I just love them back then as i just adore their super powers and especially their Zords. So in the end, my love for them turns into a toy for me to play with.
And with constant pleas and "efforts" to my parents, i finally got the first Megazord back in 94/95? cant really recall. What makes this particular Zord memorable and makes me I am is that, my obsessiveness with toys started then! Is it good or bad? hmm... My parents back then dont really support my idea of buying toys as they aint cheap. =p
But thankfully now, they fully support my obssesiveness interest/hobby which is collecting toys~
Okay, enough with all the recalls and flash backs, this piece that i'm sharing today is called the "Megazord" No fancy names in front or back, just Megazord. It's the first Megazord that makes its entrance in the first episode in the first season of Power Rangers. Season 1 of Power Rangers is actually the American rendition of "Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger" and all the "ranger" and "zord" fight scenes are cut from the Japanese series.

Megazord!!
One of the cannons is missing and there are crome wear on the "tusks", "horns" and "teeth" on the dinozords but other than that everything they used to be back then. This Megazord is one of my best kept Megazords in my collection as i still have everything except one CANNON!! Darn... I believe it's still somewhere in my house but until i found it, this will do.. :(
PS: Not many poses can be done on the Megazord as the articulation is almost non-existent. XD
Lastly, here's a footage of its transformation taken from youtube~
