Cyberverse Optimus Prime AWP Review

My first Transformers DOTM figure is none other than the Cyberverse Optimus Prime Armored Weapons Platform (AWP). This little figure looked well designed and the accessories (the trailer) makes it a worthwhile collection compared to the Cyberverse Jetwing Optimus Prime. This line of Commander Class figures are so far the best as the transformation and details are up a degree compared to its predecessor, the Legend Class. And upon looking back at those transformers manual of the past, it could easily be a deluxe figure that time.

Vehicle Mode:

The plastic quality is standard and of cause better than those G1 encore series which are very much like those toys sold in "pasar malam" (no offence ^^). Parts are also very well concealed in this alternate mode which is pretty good. No hot burning blames included though.

Robot Mode:

Some neat details on the tiny figure:

  2. this figure looks for me like something in the middle of that Legend class u mentioned & the Micro class of which i have another Optimus Prime that seems to b the Galaxy Force version... i like the details & paint job in this one & also the movie look, but the plastic quality is not as good as that of the Micro class (that is indeed resin, hence achieves a cleaner look in details)... it must b the TF fever, and extensive disease XDDDDD

@chris: yup~ the plastic quality is not as good as good as the ones spotted on the deluxe and above classes. TF fever is infecting us all.... LOL

  4. For a small toy, the transformation, details and articulation is fairly decent. The toy look good even on close-up. Nice catch and the pics taken are really captivating. Cheers!
