Robot Damashii Cherudim Gundam Review Part 1

The wait is over! And the next figure to be presented in this blog is going to be the Robot Damashii variation of GN-006 Cherudim Gundam from the series Gundam 00 Season 2. This gundam is piloted by Lyle Dylandy, the brother of the original long range attack suit, Neil Dylandy from season 1 (both known as Lockon Stratos).

Cherudim serves as an upgrade for Dynames with better long range rifle which can be switched to a short range beam gun. With the GN pistols II which can be interchanged becoming beam axes. With its Rifle Bits (controlled by Haro) which acts as a shield and attack drones, this is some what similar to those "fin funnels" used by Nu Gundam.

The articulation in this figure is very agile, however, the parts (especially the rifle bits) may be a hindrance when posing the gundam due to its tendency to fall off.. The side skirts of the figure also hinders the movement when kneeling. Overall, its still a very fun figure to play with especially if you have extra stands and parts from the Robot Damashii Qan (T), it will be fun to pose its rifle bits in action mode. Part 2 of this review will feature the rifle bits and aerial poses. Till then, "Cherudim Gundam, Lockon Stratos, Targeted and Firing!"

MP-01L Convoy Final Edition Review (Part 2)

Part 2 of the review has come! This part of the review will primarily focus on the robot mode of MP-01L Convoy/ G1 Optimus Prime. At first look, this bulky piece of metal cum plastics seem to have little articulations and mainly for display purposes. But how wrong was I..... XD

Its articulations are actually very decent for a figure this size and weight and i'm quite surprised by its mobility and action gimmicks. Its joints are also very sturdy but not too hard like some transformers figures out there especially those leader class ones. And the details? Well, as equally stunning as the vehicle mode of course! ^^

Visuals: Checked!

Arms: Checked!

Legs: Checked!

Communications: Checked!

Really love the details they put in for the communication systems as with the screen and buttons~

Action Shots!

CONVOY PUNCH!

The Matrix....

Overall, this figure is worth every penny i paid for with it vast details and gimmicks that allows me to play with. However, this figure that i've got is considered "lucky" by the toy store owner that i usually go to as it have very few nubmarks and scratches on the metal and chrome parts. A really recommended figure but a version 2 is coming and lets see what have they done to improve this figure of such excellence. Hmm......

MP-01L Convoy Final Edition Review (Part 1)

Hi all! After a teaser posted a few days ago, here is the review of MP-01L Convoy Last Edition. Well, the term "Final Edition" from Takara doesn't live long enough to justify its name, as MP-10 Convoy Version 2 is coming out soon!! MP-01L is after all MP-01 in its mold and everything, except for the "sound stage" base which have the voice of the original seiyuu for the transformers (Japan Version of course). Obtaining this version made my dream of finally owning a proper G1 Optimus Prime come true as i did not have the means to obtain one of these when they first came out...
On this first part of the review, only the vehicle mode will be in the mix as i would like to keep the robot mode for part 2. ^^

The details on the masterpiece series are just mind bobbling!
even the wipers are accurately coloured

The headlamps

One of the design features i loved the most are the tires and suspensions ^^

YOU DONT MESS WITH THE PRIMES!!!
